Anyone use Seafoam in their go-Devil

Starts and runs great but every now and then it bogs down and throttles down but doesn’t kill. I throttle down then give it full throttle and it rolls. But after a mile or so it does it again

Drain the float bowl and check for water then check the condition of the fuel lines, impulse pump, fuel filter, fuel valve, etc. Sounds like it isn't getting enough fuel to sustain full throttle. My generator would do something similar, turned out it was a faulty fuel shut off valve that would only flow enough fuel if set between Off and On.

My buddy had a similar problem, but his would end up not being able to go back to full throttle. I racked my brain trying to figure it out, but eventually figured out the oil was low. Filled it up, and it ran fine after that.
You can run Seafoam through it, but now's the time for a full tune-up anyway. It's not expensive, and will only take a few hours. Seafoam before the tune-up

Fuel cap vent could also be on your list.
I've noticed a lot of companies using those grey fuel lines lately. They have a casing in them that just falls apart. I always recommend people go to the auto parts store and pick up car fuel line rated for ethanol

I think seafoam can fix cracked pistons and broken hearts. Put that shite in there

seafoam is good to use as routine maint and as a fuel stabilizer so definitely a good choice.
for serious issues with bad running i use chemtool B-12
what you describe sounds a lot like vapor lock issues from a clogged or partially clogged gas tank vent or collapsed fuel line.
also you should replace all your fuel lines every 5-6 years no matter if you use ethanol gas or not, the hoses dry out and crack but can also swell up inside and reduced the flow

Bad gas. change the fuel lines and the ball then put fresh gas in there. If that doesn't work, throw your motor in the trash they bout to ban them anyway.

I had this happen with an old johnson I rebuilt. I used a fuel line from my dad's old motor that looked to be in good condition. I had hell with the motor, it wouldn't hit the top end like it should. finally changed the line out and the liner was collapsed in a few places when i cut it open to investigate.

My engine, 2 stroke yamahamma, wouldn't turn up over 2100 RPM. Ran a can seafoam though it and it's running like a scaled ape now. Definitely believe it. 1 thing is for sure, it will not make it any worse. It's an $8 try.

Thanks guys gonna go run some through at the camp this week. If not I’ll get new hose and change Friday if I’m not to drunk at the camp

I love seafoam. I love it on my pancakes. I love it on pizza. I take seafoam and put a little bit in my hair when I've had a rough week. What do you think holds it up, slick?

Just to add to the list...had something similar and it was a bad coil.

I switched to non ethanol gas and had no more issues with my go devil
