If anyone is interested, there are a lot of D1 recruits playing in this game... including at least 2 LSU commits (Southern Lab's RB Tyrion Davis and OL Kardell Thomas).

Thanks for the link. Is this game expected to be close?

Nice! Thanks for that link, bruh!

Kardell Thomas is 10x bigger then everyone else on the field.

Southern Lab inexplicably runs the first 2 plays away from Kardell's side.

UHigh selling out to stop the run. Davis has only made it to the LOS once in three carries so far...

Davis starting to drag some Cubs down the field

players are having trouble snapping the ball, field is wet obviously.

That last run was fantastic. But we get a Farm Bureau ad instead

Davis is a big tough back but Charvis is electric and very underrated

Lab just doesn't have enough good players. They may have the 2 bigger stars, but at the other positions they are weaker than U high. Plus, Lab is being out coached. But, Lab is limited on offense because that QB just isn't a very good passer. Davis has looked good. I'm impressed by the Hollis kid from U High. Hope Lab gets their offense rolling in the 2nd half or it's going to be a blowout.

While that may be true, the Lab coaches aren’t doing the players any favors.
The offense is as predictable as any I’ve ever seen.
IMO, the talent gap isn’t huge between the teams. The difference is that Uhigh is running an actual offense with a good mix of pass and run while Lab is run, run, pass.
Lab is the classic case of a coach thinking his team can just out athlete everyone they face.
Edit: If the Lab coaches don't think they can pass, they should move one of the Rbs to QB and run read option type stuff with jet sweep action.

Why does Christian Harris play CB?
He's 230 lbs for christ's sake. He should be playing MLB. Is he soft or something?

Lab has no QB that can throw the ball. Mike Hollins is a pretty good back.

Agree. Maybe a little late to implement a new system, unless they already have installed it in their offense. You'd figure they would have known in the spring what they had and made the necessary changes at that time. I wonder if the Moses kid with U High is related to that Moses kid that left BR to play for the Gumps?
