Hebrews 10:24-25 (NKJV) says:
And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.

No.
God is everywhere. Why go to a building on my Sunday morning?

Since Church is a political system, that’s the equivalent of going to a MAGA rally or a Yes We Can rally years ago for obama.

Nope. Woke up hungover after enjoying a full day of football.

I went to my hometown church with my mom and dad. Awesome people there. It was great.

Didn't go today...but I went yesterday. Discussed relationship foundations and Acts 2:42-46.
My church has the same sermon at the Sat 5 pm service as they do at the 9 and 11 am services on Sunday.

I’m not religious so I did not. But I do hope you fellas who are and went to church found it enriching and fulfilling. To balance out the “religion is stupid and for mopes!” among my crowd

I was there. Just got home from lunch at Acme. Awaiting game while trying to get a read on the Gulf mid-week.

Was lector at the 11 am Mass today, also substituted as extraordinary minister of Holy Communion distributing the Precious Blood.

I went to mass this morning (SO is Catholic). It was good, and relevant regardless of faith. Being doers of the word, rather than hearers. How so many of us blindly follow human traditions of worship without real intention or God in our hearts. He made a Godfather reference.
I’ve been struggling lately with letting go of things I can’t control, and feeling weighed down by shitty things I’ve done in the past. The last reading was, “Nothing that enters one from outside can defile that person; but the things that come out from within are what defile.” "From within people, from their hearts, come evil thoughts, unchastity, theft, murder, adultery, greed, malice, deceit,
licentiousness, envy, blasphemy, arrogance, folly. All these evils come from within and they defile." It resonated with me, and reminded me to get back to basics: to keep love in my heart and live by the golden rule/10 commandments. I don’t have to beat myself up about the past, and I can be a good person.
I struggle with genuine belief in religion, but I needed to hear this.

From today’s gospel reading from Mark chapter 7:
Reminds me of some posters hereabouts, especially the “arrogance and folly” part.

He summoned the crowd again and said to them, "Hear me, all of you, and understand. Nothing that enters one from outside can defile that person; but the things that come out from within are what defile.
