Have we ever been this deep at Safety?

Right now our safety depth is absolutely insane. We have:
Grant Delpit- 4*
Eric Monroe- 4*
John Battle- 3* but three year starter
JaCoby Stevens- 5*
Todd Harris- 4*
Ed Paris- 4*
Cam Lewis- 4*
The crazy thing is, our safeties are so stacked right now that Kelvin Joseph, the top safety we signed this year was moved to CB and is killing it there now too. I think the young talent in our secondary at both CB and S has the potential to be unreal this year.

No but its a great problem to have especially at the beginning of a season

Entire secondary is deep. Almost all of them are options at CB as well if needed.

We have so much talent in the secondary that we'll probably be great next year too

I’m pumped we are loaded to the point Joseph was able to go to corner and he’s killing it. Great problem to have

Worst recruiting in 25 years.

I know it’s disappointing to get the two best WRs and add even more talent to this secondary. We’re going to hell in a hand basket.

Stop it. Les recruiting a ton of 5 Star DBs and WRs too and created an unbalanced roster
Ed has done the same thing by ignoring RB, CB, and QB.

we don't know until they play...
if you go back and look at All Americans and their recruiting classes, most of the guys who showed out on the field weren't the highest rated at their position coming in.
Patrick Peterson was one of the few that lived up to the hype.

This board was been melting over the worst class in 25 years, but now can’t stop bragging on the new players. You guys have multiple personality disorder.

This class wasn’t “the worst in 25 years” by any metric
It whiffed on giant position of needs though

Where are all these down votes coming from ...why even watch the games then ??

I don't think we can say that we are stacked at safety. It looks good on paper but the only safety that we know is a stud is Grant Delpit. Otherwise, Battle is good, Paris is good, and Cam Lewis not so sure. Monroe, Stevens, and Harris could be studs but we don't know yet for sure. I hope they are all studs and we are stacked! Can't wait to find out.

Not a single player listed in the OP was from this past class.

You realize Kelvin Joseph was clearly mentioned in the OP?

Well the players he listed are from the last coach.
Joseph is one. One player.

Not currently a safety and not on the OP's list of safeties.
I really fail to see what our depth at safety has to do with the 2018 recruiting class that people are bringing up.
