For children who need motivation to do their job.

For our defense, turnovers just come naturally.

The fact that OP is downvoted so many times shows our fans suck. You all get off on failure. It's pretty sad.

Considering that the defense wasn’t nearly as good at producing turnovers last year, you couldn’t have sounded more idiotic.

maybe they were just down voting because your thread is stupid, not because they're rooting for failure.

Without looking I honestly do not know. How many turnovers did LSU and Miami force last year?

these turnover chains, etc. are just the latest gimmick. I think they're cheesy. A good defense is supposed to create turnovers, just like a good offense is supposed to score TDs.

Just flip the ball to the ref and jog to the sidelines. Act like you've been there before.

I agree and not knocked by you but a lot of programs do it and I am sure it’s for a reason.

It’s an extra motivation for the players. If I came to work everyday and my boss said that what you supposed to do he would be right but that is not gonna give me that extra push and motivation.

Bama is one that does this and they are champions so there is something to it.

They had substantially more turnovers than us.

I think they had 31 and we had 17.

Well, actually Miami has been there (National championships) 5 times to LSU's (3) times. Apparently they get excited each time and don't care about acting like they have been there before and simply handing the ball off to the ref.

I'm not talking about the program - I'm talking about the players.

I've just always been old school and loved how Barry Sanders, Herschel Walker, etc. EXPECTED to make big plays and didn't need to act all excited when they did. To me, when you go nuts over a big play, it's like you surprised yourself.

Now sure, if you make the play that wins the game - go crazy. But for most other big plays throughout a game, high-five your teammates and jog to the bench. Get ready for the next series. Expect to do it again.
