I'm liking what I'm hearing - let's see it on the field Sun. night!

Special teams/Kicking game - MAJOR upgrade
QB - talented and mature and ready to lead
Defense - top 10 w chance to be dominant
Offense - balanced w emphasis on passing game down the field

Just hoping the old man Ensminger can call a modern offense and be a savvy play caller. If so we will be hell for everyone we line up against.

Everything you said is spot on. No doubt the talent is there.
If the new offensive system installed works out, Coach O lets his coaches coach, we have a chance at winning some games.

Very true, but they always say I'll be happy if I'm wrong. Believe it or not, sadly, that's not true. Some have made a spectacle out of denouncing O and seriously get pissed when people are positive about the program.

Just curious why. This guy has forgotten more about football than you will ever know. He played QB at lsu, and has been a lifelong student of the game. Even aranda said last year he has a great offensive football mind that aranda often picks. He has brought it people to help him, and spent hundreds of hours studying a couple NFL offenses.
He is a players coach, because he played the game. He has been noted as a hell of a play caller. I know you are one of the negative ones, but I just don't get the hate for E.

It had to been tough with all the schools knocking his door down to be their OC considering the great numbers he put up in 1994 For him to stay a TE coach is nothing short of a miracle. I bet many schools are devastated we got the best in the country to sign the dotted line. Im stoked.
