Clemson - 14 for 29 - 48.3 percent - 110 yards - 0 TDs - 2 INTs

Wisconsin - 11 for 26 - 42.3 percent - 203 yards - 1 TD - 3 INTs

so hes gonna have a 3 game run of Clem, Wisc, and LSU. and jmo but it feels like LSUs defense is sort of a combination of those two. Clemson players in the Wisconsin system.

suffice to say this is not helping to keep my expectations in check.

If we played them a week later (after Wisconsin), I think your point is 100% valid. But magic shite can happen over an off-season. A lot of time to reivew (and possibly fix) things that had turned sour. Plus, he must be dying to get a chance to redeem himself.

I am not saying his numbers will be any better against us this week --- after all, I expect our defense to be top-notch. But I wouldn't make any bets that he isn't potentially much improved over last season (just like I expect Charles to make a giant leap forward at L-Tackle).

Interesting..

We'll see. Either he has improved or he hasn't. I know one thing, speaking from their perspective, LSU isn't who you want to start off playing if you're lacking confidence in the ball security department.

yes the competition overall was more competitive in the last 6 games buts it’s hard to glean anything from it imo, Yeah he’s inaccurate at times but he was ALL the way off unlike anything we had seen from him in the season. He had a shoulder injury on his throwing shoulder vs UNC so I’m sure it affected him quite a bit. Everyone is saying he’s healthy and better now so I guess We will see on Sunday

Had our 3 best offensive weapons out, RB, WR and TE. Not to mention our depth on the O line was worst than it will be this year with a player also out. That team overachieved going 10-3 and was exhausted by the time the season ended. Last year was Rosier’s first year playing(Kaaya) started each game in 2016.
This Miami team doesn’t compare at all vs last year. Different strengths and weaknesses.

I need to see this defense on the field. Only having one senior is actually a little worrying to me, regardless of how talented and deep we are on paper.

I posted this before, but Rosier's 3 worst games from a passer rating perspective were against FSU, Clemson and Wisconsin.

Those 3 pass defenses were also ranked the top 10 in passer rating against last year (the best 3 pass defenses he faced). Our pass defense was #9, for comparison purposes

He ended up clutch in the FSU game, but his defense and special teams are what even allowed that.

Last 2 drives in the FSU game Rosier was: 7 for 11, 118 yards, 2 TDs

The first 11 drives Rosier went: 12 for 33, 36%, 136 yards, 4.1 YPA, 1 TD, 1 INT
