Does the AG have jurisdiction over state laws?

Immunity granted for what specific crime?

Immunity from any potential charges related to their involvement in the Cohen/whore payoff schemes.

National inquirer guy communicated with Cohen and helped enact a plan to pay off one woman in exchange for her Trump story. Trump org. CFO was involved in the payment of invoices Cohen sent for repayment of "legal services," which were actually reimbursements for those payoffs.

It's not that what they did was necessarily a crime, it's just a tool to get them to relax and communicate openly for the purposes of getting Cohen.

Note that all the immunity deals are focused on the campaign finance charges, which were the most minor of Cohen's crimes. They aren't interested in pursuing those, because they were simply a political "add-on" to his plea deal.

79 people were granted immunity in the Hillary email deal, but that doesn't mean Hillary did anything illegal. but this guy being granted immunity to testify about Michael Cowen proves that Trump violated the law.

You liberals are truly morons.

Is he claiming an NDA is a criminal offense?

I'm pretty sure it isn't, but why isn't taking the money, spending it, and then breaking the contract not a crime?
Can that be done with any other legally binding contract?

As a former investigator, let me let yall in on a little secret here.

Investigators and prosecutors don't fight fair, and don't have to be honest with the people they are investigating either.

I may or or not have gotten immunity deals for people who I didn't even think broke any laws as a way to put pressure on someone who I thought had.

SDNY is a federal outfit. AG absolutely has authority over US Attorneys

No wonder Trump wanted "flipping" to be illegal. He is KEY to any potential financial crimes in the T

As many business deals as Trump has done in his career, I have no doubt they will eventually find something - likely obscure.

That’s why they give everyone around Trump immunity- to try to find something - anything. - to take him down.

That’s what this country has become folks. Pathetic.

I only hope someone applies the same scrutiny to the Clintons if we want equal justice.

Remember Tax crimes can be brought up by States too. Virginia, DC and NY could all get into the mix if a pardon comes.

Yup!..they sure hammered the Clinton Foundation using those tactics. When do Bill and Hillary, etal, get out of prison?

With Weisselberg and Cohen working with the prosecutors, Trump and his lifetime of corruption are going to be exposed bigly. This is a terrible day for Trump and his criminal family.

Well he plead guilty to multiple counts of tax evasion and a single count of bank fraud. So I'd start there

Here's a 20 page explanation of the applicable criminal law and the facts of this case. LINK

Your rebuttal is to cite a complaint filed by Common Cause in which the “facts” are sourced almost entirely to media articles??

It’s like you people either don’t know how stupid and disingenuous you are or are just knowing being deceitful.
