Based solely on projected depth charts from 247 and ourlads.com and uses assumed Base Defenses. Star rankings based on 247 comp. Make of it what you will...

I didn't included the scrubs teams, cuz ain't nobody got time for that.

UGA and BAMA offenses are LOADED, but those are the only two teams with more 'assumed' talent than LSU.

These are always interesting to me. Montez Sweat was a 3 star, but might have one of the highest ceilings on any DL in the conference. Solid data OP

What was your criteria for picking the players btw? Noticed that Devonta Jason, Stephen Guidry, and Austin Williams aren’t listed. All 3 will likely be our best receivers along with Mixon

Bro, we don't have any talent. This is a rebuilding year.

This is exactly why all the disrespect around the program right now revolves around Orgeron. The roster is loaded at every position. It's thin at RB for sure but Brossette, CEH and Curry are all above average SEC backs. Talent will not be the reason why LSU wins 7 games this year.

Yep. When LSU beats Miami, it will be because O got lucky.

Nice stats! So tired of supposed "O supporters" denigrating his recruiting efforts and acting like we don't have talent on the squad. Looks like O has got himself all the talent he needs to compete for and win the SEC. Let's go, O!

LSU will beat Miami because their OL is questionable and I think we have an elite defense. Their QB struggles under pressure as well and Aranda will dial it up all night.

That's not an excuse, that's a reason. Dave Aranda is a fricking badass.

Pretty unfortunate people will say that. Here's to hoping LSU beats them so badly no one will blame it on luck.

247 has the most 'projected' depth charts. To keep simple, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 RB on Offense. Base defense (as they have it listed)

Everything looks pretty solid outside of our WR. Guidry and Jason will both be starters.

I think people are sleeping on just how awesome this defense can be. It is f'n loaded. There might be two top 10 draft picks on this year's D. And that's not counting the 5-star defensive lineman who hasn't had a fully healthy season yet (and is only a junior). People have written him off way to early.

3 Guys on that Bama Defense that should be @ LSU... Buggs/Moses/Smith.... Smh...

Devin White next to Dylan Moses would have been scary.. Savion Smith next to greedy... Buggs on the other side of Rashard Lawrence.. wow...

About what we thought, our d is loaded, and our O has some catching up to do. While this doesn't factor in experience, unless I missed it, that's what most people knocking us for 10 supposed returning starters, compared to some lesser talented teams with significantly more experience.

If the offense can step up, we will play with anybody.

I'm not worried about it, that's why I think Coach O leads this team to a championship. LOADED defense and now an offense that isn't hampered by ineffective leadership. Coach O has a hand-picked QB in Jeaux Burreaux and the best OC in the country in Ol' Slinger, plus a slew of talent he was able to bring in. They're ready to roll!

We also have Giles who was 3 stars out of high school but probably would have been evaluated way differently as transfers.

And I feel like Jefferson’s ranking took a hit because he was not expected to qualify
