NCAA 14 still loving it!

This probably doesn’t deserve its own subject but I don’t care. Just fired up NCAA on the ole ps3, been about a yr since I played it last. Nothing like having the stadium sounds set and when I get that first down the band plays the geaux tigers chant. Also having the 4 team playoff hooked up, best game I’ve ever owned.

I broke mine out about 2 months ago and blew through a season in like 3 weeks. That game is still a total blast.
I also found my MLB2K13. I wish both of these games were backwards compatible since they're the last iteration of the franchise for Xbox. I'm jealous the PS4 people have The Show

i had a great online dynasty for like 5 seasons on that game but once everyone figured out how broken the zone read out of certain formations with the correct audibles was it ruined it. could literally score 9/10 drives on automatic and the only 1/10 stops was a holding call or QB airmailing a ball cuz we had QB acc slider down to like 15.
u have to sell out ur whole defense to stop the zone read run and then slants kill you, and the game shows which one you are gonna do presnap

Every game has broken shite, if you don’t expose it though and play it right it’s still a lot of fun. Although I never lose on it

I’m in 2025 on my dynasty and every team who runs the triple option is in the top 10.
Vandy, Bama, Navy, Air Force, South Carolina and Georgia Tech are all top 10 year in and year out.
In regards to the read option, how about just not run it? Only time I use is it is if I feel bullshite has occurred and then i’ll Use it in a must need conversion situation, other than that why would I actively take advantage of the game engine?
What makes that fun in the slightest?

I'm curious what happened in the coaching carousel to have Bama and South Carolina running the option
I always played with Georgia Tech and tried to run the offense the way I think Johnson would run it. I edited the playbook down to the plays that he runs in real life and eliminated most of the cheese that you would never actually see. The game was really fun that way, and there were certain games where none of it worked and I'd get blown out. It made it interesting.

There is something else that you can do to change the dynamics of the game. Play it in zoom mode, it really makes it a bit more difficult

Picked it up a few weeks ago and started LSU dynasty with updated rosters. Went 10-3 in first season, recruited a 5 star QB who is now my starter in 2nd season. I've solved the QB problem.
Just make this backwards compatible already so I can finally retire my PS3.

Better than any Madden of the last 5 years.
Edit: Have the updated rosters for this season and bought a copy of Madden25 for $4.00 off ebay with free shipping. Downloaded the rosters for Madden to reflect this upcoming season and have been uploading the draft classes. Been a lot of fun.

Lol it’s all gone a bit nuts.
Saban retired and last I saw Urban Meyer was at Troy or some other smaller school and there were ranked like No. 22. Can’t remember exactly which school it is.

How do you set it to play the geaux tigers chant? When I looked at setting, it only shows a bunch of generic songs?

There's a process to upload your own sounds/songs/chants and adjust the settings that will trigger those uploads to play in certain scenarios (pre kickoff, post touchdown, post extra point, 3rd down, etc)

Go to the operationsports forums. Click on NCAA football and there is a stadium sounds sub forum with files and instructions

I wish there was a working emulator for this game on PC. Shame there isn't.
There's one where you can do everything in the menus, like simulating a dynasty, but I want to play the damn games
