It doesn't matter what people will say. Its the right thing to do.
So you think this is a net benefit for everyone?
Is it "the right thing to do" when you know an entire country will collapse?

9/10 of the countries with the lowest IQ are in Africa. This is exactly what ignorant people do.

I listened to a podcast recently and the numbers of murders is harrowing.

Didn't Obama make a big speech there bashing Trump overtly?

Apparently less that 1% of SA's think land ownership is a major issue. This is about the government seizing more control. No company wants to invest in a country where the government doesn't recognize property rights.

Im more pro refugee when the refugee has marketable skills that this country could use. (farming knowledge and the will to do a job that is hot sweaty work).
Not some frickstick whose only knowledge is opening a falafel stand, hookah bars, and bomb making, head cutting off assholes.
Not to mention automotive wack-a-mole and airplane pilots who only know how to take off but not land, unless you count crashing into a building landing.

So just to get you on record, are you actually in favor of whites farms being taken from them and then they be murdered?
Cant speak for him. But keep me on record for saying this.
The US did next to nothing during apartheid. While I relent that it technically wasn't a US problem, it was a humanitarian problem. But dont be a hypocrite now that tables shifted.
If apartheid was still going on NOBODY ON HERE WOULD BE SAYING ANYTHING ABOUT IT.
SA made their bed hard and now they put themselves in a bad situation. Those with means should have left soon after ending apartheid. There is absolutely no excuse as to why they couldn't integrate just like the US did in 60s and every other western country. Why are they "special snowflakes" when similar problems are happening in our own backyard via Mexico.
And yes, I've extensively studied the history of the Afrikaners. From the pre colonial period to modern day.
As of right now, I say do what is needed for evacuaion takes to prevent a Genocide like the Rwandan Massacre. I do not think violence is the answer.
EDIT: Blame Zuma not Mandela

We need more farmers when the trend is less farmers (corporations) owning more land? Are we going to give them land to own and employ illegals to plant and harvest the crops?

So tell me what you think will happen to SA once the evil white folks leave.
Hint - it ain't gonna turn into Wakanda

I think he's trying to say that these people are educated and have actual skills unlike most of the 3rd world refugees that the left wants to import by the millions. These refugees would be a net plus.

They have to create there own society. Whatever fate befalls them at that point is their concern.
Whether it leads to their destruction or their glory, it will be their choice.

Nonsense. It will be the international community's concern because they'll be called to step in and provide security and humanitarian services.
Do you prefer a guaranteed implosion (mass starvation, violence, economic collapse) over the current situation?

I don't like taking refugees in because the only reason they're coming is because they're running from something, not because they wanted to be part of the American experience.
My family farmed, now just leases. Farmers are generally decent people, but farming isn't some transferable skill to other industries. Maybe they could come in and work for a corporate farm? But do they know how to farm in the US?
Posted on 8/23/18 at 11:10 am to cwill
As I understand it, farming in SA is extremely complicated due to limited water resources. Bringing that knowledge here could be helpful.
My point is that these aren't laborers from Guatemala with a 2nd grade education. They'd be a net positive.

How?
Because most of them just deal with how the left will defend the black people or deal with how awful these white people are getting it, ignoring so many other parts of the world where worse things are happening.

Surely you can agree that those situations are far more complicated with far bigger ramifications, right?

Yeah but nobody talks about it. Trump doesn't talk about how awful it is for the people of North Korea that they're living in such a dictatorship.

Let's try to address the ones we can realistically change/influence. I'd say we're making headway with NK and KSA.
By not addressing any of the human rights / murder issues?

If they involve themselves in it, that is there concern.
Even if it's only a 1% chance, I want SA to learn how to deal with it's own problems. Same goes for the ME.
ENOUGH INTERVENTION. I'm all for stopping a genocide, but nation building has got to go.
Will many die, yes I realize that. But they have to face their problems. Someone will inevitable take power.

No one is nation building. If anything this is preventing a nation from imploding.
I'm glad you're so indifferent to the mass death of the very people you think you're helping.

I don't see how focusing on this issue is a denial of other wrongdoings in this world.

I think he's been pretty clear on trying to make things better for the citizens of NK

How did the white farmers get the land in the first place? I'm pretty sure it was taken or stolen from the local people during the colonization process
t was colonized and the local people actually traded and lived along side them.
It wasn't until the Zulus and sub-Saharan Africans started their tribal wars and migrated south did problems start. Now the sub Saharan migrants are claiming its stolen land just because its on the same continent they are from.

Because there have been multiple threads on this for multiple days. I don't see any of those threads on this board about anywhere else unless it's happening to these specific white farmers in South Africa. You and I both know what I'm saying is true.
It's actually similar to win tons of my liberal friends on Facebook posted a picture of the French flag after the terrorist event that happened there. Meanwhile Kenyans had 29,000 people died from terrorist activities at the same time and nobody posted a flag of it at all. just seems like people only care whenever it's white people dying.
What is been happening in North Korea for years is beyond wrong. You have people they are getting murdered left and right just for saying things that go against the propaganda of the government.
The situation in Africa, while terrible, goes back to apartheid and other problems. It's terrible that these people are being murdered but it's also terrible that many Africans had their land taken from them in the first place. At least with North Korea we know that there's a bunch of oppressed people and one government responsible.

No but I just feel like he should address the other issues too. This issue should be addressed but so should the others
