Am I the only one who doesn’t understand the hate for Jim Harbaugh?
His records at Michigan
10-3 Won Citrus
10-3 Lost Orange
8-5 (QB problems) Lost Outback
He walked into a dumpster fire of a program and proceeded to succeed. He is an exciting character who loves old school football. I get the 3rd place finishes but why do people continue to say he will get fired? I swear I see a thread every week on how Harbaugh is garbage... It is shown when he has somewhat of an adequate QB his teams are special. I expect another 10 win season this year for them with Shea as starter.

I'd guess it's because he was supposed to be the savior for a historic program and hasn't done anything but have autistic pajama parties.

And yet, he continues to be talked about like he's Saban.

He's a try-hard passive aggressive douche.

He's a really good football coach. Idk who would disagree with that.

I agree with you. I don’t get it.

He hasn’t even had a recruiting class of his own go 4 years through his program yet.

He's one of those people that ESPN has decided that everything he has to say is important and needs to be newsworthy.

I don't get it. Especially from the Gumps. I guess if anyone is considered a good coach besides Saban they get their panties in a wad.

Yeah, all those four- and five-stars really scream "dumpster fire."

Michigan was rolling right out the gate.

That stomach punch loss to Michigan State really killed the momentum Harbaugh had with the blind belief of the kids IMO.

Michigan wins that game and they don't look back.

Instead that killed all the new coach Mo and Michigan took steps backwards.

The hate generally derives from the Michigan fans reasonable expectations they will defeat OSU and annually compete for natties per his success at Stanford and as a pro HC (led the 49ers to the SB and NFC title game next year), so far they have not accomplished that came close in 2016 and I was a believer but fell apart at the end. I mean Michigan's the winningest program in the history of college football, the Big House, that fight song, the whole 9, their fans aren't stupid now when's the last time UM defeated OSU in the rivalry game? I thought so, he's supposed to be the guy to overcome all that, so far he hasn't this is arguably a make or break year for him with Shea starting and I'll be sure to track the games. In conclusion, the speculation over this being make or break and possible termination is a credit to the mystique and greatness of the Michigan football program and their fans desire that they uphold that greatness relative to the championship chase, expectations should be high always.

His record is only 2 games better than Hoke after his first 3 years (and he actually won something).

I don’t have any hate for him at all. I just can’t see where he is this elite top notch coach that the media claims he is. There is no proof of it.

I hate him for his far left politics and the fact that he's so outspoken.

He's the Steve Kerr of NCAAFB.

Harbaugh's record during his 4 years at Stanford was 29-21. He had one good year, his last one, at 12-1.

David Shaw has been 73-22 over the last 7 years, with five 1st place division finishes and a 3rd place being the worst.

Harbaugh may have got that first championship, but his hype machine gives him more credit for Stanford's continued success than he deserves, just like he's getting at old Blue.
