Pretty sure Brennan is pissed because he still had people inside who were loyal to him, and keeping him " briefed " which would allow him to maneuver and manipulate, keeping himself one step ahead of prying eyes involved in this investigation.

So, what you're saying, is guys like Brennan were getting classified info (even if there was no need to know) then passing that info to moles in the media.
