There is zero correlation between % Greek population of a student body and annual donations to that university. Hell, UT Austin is one of the richest universities in the world, taking in way more in annual donations than LSU, and less than 5% of the student body is Greek. Sorry, but your point is simply wrong.

When I was an undergrad in the early 00's half of all donations to LSU came from Greeks. Granted I am sure that is from some major donors but it is still significant. I do not know if that still stands but it is significant.

Not all schools are the same. Baton Rouge isn’t attracting people Austin will and it’s not nearly as good of a school or in nearly as good of an educational system in its state.

Terrible comparison.

ETA:

And % Greeks who donate is far fricking higher at LSU.
