O and staff know they have to win now.

Narcisse admits he’s not ready.

From his own mouth

quote:

"We were just on two different pages They wanted a quarterback who was ready to play. we were moving in two different directions.”

I'm going to need a little more breakdown.

Sounds like he wants to be developed and wasn't getting that here.

As stated Orgeron knows he doesn’t have that kind of time. He needs someone that can play TODAY to get him to 8 wins or more. I think 8 is his magic number this year to keep the administration off his back but anything less will be big trouble for him

So he's acknowledging that he isn't ready to play but yet moving on because they are starting somebody who is? I guess there is no pleasing Narcisse.

Can he come back to LSU after playing one year in JC?

No it doesn’t. Sounds like he’s not ready to play at the level that LSU needs or the coaches want him to at this time and someone else on the roster was.

At some point they have to attempt to develop a QB.

Get the ingredients and make the meal, that's part of being a good coach. Can't keep ordering out for QB.

Injuries. Burrows walks on water. Not when his knee needs season ending surgery.

Yep, we need to hire a QB guru to the shadow staff. I wonder if Matt Flynn is interested? Just a thought.

Or he knows he needs to improve and doesn't feel like he'll get the time/attention here.

Trust me I think it’s laughable too but our soft as cotton AD has already showcased his low standards by hiring 0 in the first place

8 wins and a late December bowl game is just fine and dandy for the current athletic department regime

Sure he is. But what Coach would not play the best option at a position? Burrow is probably more polished and consistent than the QBs on the roster, can you blame O for playing him?

Why would he play someone that in his mind doesn’t give him and his team the best shot to win?

Looks like he was worried he wasn't going to get the development he wanted

What better way to get better than getting on the field? He's doing what he needs to get where he needs to be. Not to mention, just because he says he may have not be ready to play as a starter, doesn't mean he was ok with being pushed to the back of the depth chart.

It really comes down to this: In a “I want it, and I want it now” generation, Narcisse didn’t want to wait his turn. I think he has the talent to be a really good QB but wants on the field right now.
