Listen to what Independents like me are saying, and you'll understand American politics

Most of the forum users here live in a conservative echo chamber.
I'm an Independent voter.
I am economically moderate, socially moderate overall. I have conservative views. I have liberal views.
I am the average American.
I acknowledge that America has a history of racism.
You cannot deny that black people have not faced Racism.
I acknowledge that America has a deficit of trust, and economic competitiveness.
I acknowledge that far left liberalism and far right conservatism is destroying America.
I am a centrist.
I believe that if you want to protest police brutality, it should not be a crime.
I believe that there is a racial gap between white people and black people.
I believe that it is the responsibility of black people to control their communities and cities.
I believe that it is the responsibility of white people to understand that black people live different lives than white people.
Not every American voted for Donald Trump and the Republicans.
Trump did not win the 2016 Popular Vote.
John Bel Edwards in 2015 in LA won Independent voters.
Independent voters like me hate the far-left and the far-right.
I criticize both ideologies equally and with rigor.

A moderate is a belief equal to a fart in a hurricane.

Why is that? And why isn’t there one between whites and Asians?

Why haven’t they’ve done more to address black on black killings? And fatherless homes?

You should probably do a better job of explaining that to the white progressives on this forum. They love to interject everything because they know what’s best for the black man.

So? You act like the only people who get a sayso are people that vote. Politicians serve all the people, not just the ones who voted. How do you know how the non-voters feel? You don't. I won't even get into the electoral debate. It's been discussed ad nauseum on here.

So you split the difference between each side?
That’s just cowardice.
