NFL players are the 1% bitching that the 99% oppressed them.
I guess their "cause" is so important they only participate while being paid by someone else.

Who cares what race? There are more white Americans anyway. Why is it okay for a cop to unlawfully kill anyone?
No one said u had a right to protest at work... but under the NFL policies (which support the constitution's 1st Amendment) they are allowed to. I can't fault the NFL if their policies give their employees free speech bro.
I stated all Americans should be against these things whether black or white. These are injustices and totally against what America stands for.

The President expressing displeasure for something is a far cry from actively suppressing it through his power and authority.

Why can't they protest what they want to protest? Who cares what the numbers are? I can protest chic-fil-a for being closed on Sundays. Its freedom of speech.
Also, black on black killings are civilian on civilian crime. Cops are public officials, they're employed by the state, county, city. Its different.

In this great country we live in and the great democracy we have in place, u guys are really supporting the POTUS telling a private company what policies they should have?
Posted on 8/10/18 at 8:45 am to Magician2
It’s a damned shame that POTUS is stirring up shite again just to throw red meat to his true believers. The president, much to the dismay of many of you really isn’t god-emperor. We don’t have those in America.
Personally, I think the kneeling by the playersis kind of dumb and meaningless. It doesn’t enrage me in the least. I pretty much ignore it and just pay attention to the game.

How many of these idiots took a knee during the "off-season?"

Because it's hypocrisy at its finest. Honestly, they can protest what they want, but when you choose an overblown issue to protest and choose to protest it in such a controversial way, you can expect some backlash.

well....Eric Reid is at home scratching his unemployed arse right now.

Literally all of the players protesting the false narrative that blacks are being gunned down in the streets daily.

Yet black people are 12% of the population but commit over 50% of the murders in our country every year. 93% of all black murders are committed by other black people

No one has said that, except for you

Re-read this thread, any thread on this topic, or any MSM article. Some idiot called it “fascism” on page 2. Plus, the NFl does have a rule in their handbook saying teams can face penalties if players don’t stand for anthem. They just aren’t enforcing it
Lastly - please read this - THIS ISNT A FREE SPEECH ISSUE. Free speech only protects you from oppression by the government. The NFL isn’t the government. In exchange for your labor your boss pays you. You give up some of your rights for this privleage.
