I care about winning. Raise your hand if you care about winning.

take advantage of the fair market, even added 4 extra club seats this year for a bargain because of that. Thanks!

I'm just curious how it's a bargain buying right now at full price? You couldn't give tickets away last year to the cupcakes. The AU game sold less than face value last year.

Factor in taf fees and season tickets is an upside down purchase.

Family has had same tailgate spot for 30+ years. Longer than I have been around. We've been asked to move. You think they are going to put up with the travel and setting up now?

Nope. And the people who said we were whiny bitches when they first started charging to park had their heads in the sand. Beginning of the end.

Correct. People tried selling their season tix as a whole
Package minus tradition fund fees and at huge discounts below face. Guess what? Still did not sell. Where in years past they would sell like hot cakes. Cheaper now to just buy tix on secondary market to games you want to attend.

hell we never saw BAMA or UGA singles anywhere either to the public

A good amount of these were made to the season ticket holders. I was shocked at how long they lasted.

I was told when I, and several others on tRant, let go of season tickets, that “real fans” would be lined up to purchase them. Well, apparently not. I haven’t bad-mouthed Orgeron but I certainly don’t think it was a responsible hire. Couple that with the fleecing of the fans over the years for every little thing and I’ve had enough. They have received 30+ years of my hard-earned dollars. When they get serious about football again, I may recommit. Right now, baseball and basketball are getting my money.

Several issues, like chickens, have come home to roost, which I believe is what leads to the current state of plunging season ticket sales:
1) LSU is scheduling too many really lackluster cupcakes, SLU one case in point. I mean, really, who wants to pay top dollar, high $$$ concessions, pay to park and etc. for stuff like that? Lazy scheduling.
2) Tailgating traditions being dissed and relocated by either tone deaf or too-greedy Admins. Likewise game-time in stadium traditions being trashed - piped in music? Band music curtailed.
3) Did I mention traffic and parking issues?
4) Legacy of previous coach - complacency, boring offenses, staff issues year to year, dumbstuff, Bama.
5) Debacle at transition from old coach to the search for new coach.
6) Debacle over actual hire of new HC. Lazy search/hiring.
7) Joe Alleva (gets his own line), there are so many issues here.
8) And F. King Alexander, ditto.
9) Cost of tickets, parking, concessions cost and quality of same.
10) Large screen TVs at home, with games on; refreshments, comfort, AC, no parking or traffic issues; home tailgating with friends over is fun and less work. Duh.

Won’t get better until LSU football turns things around and makes game day electric, fun, and meaningful again.
