Orgeron as HC is hindering all of our futures. It's just not good for the Louisiana economy or LSU

The only real threat to Aranda's career is if Orgeron successfully meddles in Aranda's defense. We already know that Orgeron gets desperate quickly when things don't go his way. Now that he has a freshly-hired yes-man at offensive coordinator, it is possible that he will turn on the defense.

If that scenario does come to pass, Aranda should understand that he is on a rapidly sinking ship and stand his ground regardless of the consequences.

I think most agree that Aranda's least strong aspect is recruiting. O is a great coach to learn from in that regard.

We all know Aranda is a great, young up and coming DC. Does coaching under Oeaux (a glorified recruiting coordinator) hurt his progress?

If LSU falls hard this year under O...which will happen, does Coach Aranda get lost in the shuffle?

Do you people sit around all day in the sun and make this shite up?

I would imagine that coordinators are analyzed independent of their team's success. The units are looked at in a vacuum outside of maybe defenses on teams running hurry-up offenses that put too much pressure on their defense throigh the course of the game. I'm sure there's an adjustment formula for that.

I'm sure Aranda is happy to have the talent he has at LSU to showcase his skills as a coordinator and he's probably even happier to have a professional recruiter as his boss. If he has aspirations for the NFL then I would guess that he's more concerned with the success of his defense then the overall success of the team.
