Will be interesting to see how things play out. There is a chance of a whole lot of talent possibly transferring w/ immediate eligibility. Talent that has established relationships with Joe Burrow.
Report that Urban knew of domestic violence incident dating back to 2015. Here's the CBS link:

This is the definition of how not to start a thread.

Allegedly he had a position coach who was abusing his wife and he kept him on staff.

Urban fired a coach on his staff after allegations of domestic violence surfaced, but he said this was the first he knew of it. McMurphy found texts showing Meyer knew in 2015 and potentially covered it up.

Ohio State coach Urban Meyer knew of previous domestic abuse allegations against former Buckeyes assistant Zach Smith and there’s proof of it through text messages, according to college football reporter Brett McMurphy.

Yeah I just read about it. This will have no effect on Meyer's tenure.
It's hardly news worthy.

Politically correct culture does make it newsworthy.

He’s a dumbass. Unfortunately probably will have no effect on him at Ohio State.

This will not cause Meyer to lose his job.
And despite the seriousness of the allegation against the asst. coach, its difficult to say exactly what Meyer should have done, except to advise counseling.

Yea I doubt they let players transfer and play immediately over this.

Those text seem to show that they had issues but nowhere did they say my husband is beating me. Also, ignoring and covering up are two different issues.

Urban Meyer turned a blind eye to domestic violence?
Water is wet.

Hes not.. and even if he does.. who cares

It would be different if the abuse stuff happened on campus at OSU involving others in the program.
This is an issue with an assistant coach in his personal life off campus.
And if it were more heinous like murder or child molestation, it would be different as well.

This is actually starting to blow up a bit. Twitter, radio, etc. Could turn into more than nothing

This seems like more stress than Urban is able to handle.
