To learn? Take just our phones. They have become exponentially more complex compared to my sweet Nokia of 2001 with nothing but snake. Hell a flip phone was fancy in 2002.
I don't mean easy as in it mentally less taxing, simply less complex.
Getting a new computer or a phone is a pain in the arse when you don't have to. Hours and hours of work to get all your apps, programs, etc. downloaded and registered. For smaller less important things like say a tablet you just use for the larger screen to browse the Internet or whatever, it's a lot easier to go with the same brand as your phone over having to learn a new brand's functionality.

amazes me how much customer loyalty there is to tech companies
Why? They sell network goods that have a learning curve
There are benefits to having everything on the Apple or Google ecosystems. There also is a value in not having to learn a new mobile operating system
I have used both Droid and Apple products, like both but definitely have a preference

Their price to earnings is only like 20.14 and pays a dividend of ~1.34%. I don't know of any other company growing revenues like Apple and valued less. The only reason I haven't been putting more in for a long time is because my exposure is too much.
For the record, I am a droid user.

No. I have been on the apple train for years now. Every time I think it has topped out, it seems to jump 25%

On pace for strongest August since 2000. 4Q earnings could be a record with the XS release.

Which is crazy because every week it seems like someone is saying how the Iphone sales are going to slow and can't continue.
Yet every release just about they grow.
