Well drive Rosedale Road into Rosedale across from Duphill Pipeline and tell me what you see.

I think Ima have to pass on the trip to Rosedale...

I do think that most beans and cotton nowadays are roundup ready, so I doubt that Roundup is what you are seeing.

I thought it was some new form of Roundup I might be able to get and wage jihad on my fence lines and ditches.

Nah, 99.99999% of beans planted are Roundup Ready.

But, you can mix 2,4-D with some Roundup and wage war on ditches and fence lines until your heart is content.

Tiger. I live close to you. Most likely those beans are planted on fallow cane rows. They plant early and harvest early so they can get out of the field in time for planting cane in those rows. It’s a defoliant they get sprayed with to speed the process up. You will probably see cane planted there shortly.

No - probably putting out fungicide and/or insecticides. We've had a big bug run lately.

Winner, winner, chicken dinner.
This is the exact reason for the early defoliant.

So they burn them down green? Probably makes for a shitty sample. I met a dude once that's what he did, roved around farming beans on cane ground during the "off" years. I reckon they rotate to fight the grass, and the other normal reasons for rotation?
