I'm considering getting tattoo. My first. It will be a portrait. It could possibly be of, say, Kellyanne Conway. I've sent out an initial inquiry to a shop out of state. The artist seems very skilled. I've been told it would take about 4 hours (1/2 day session, including consult). I've also gotten a price estimate. What is a legit price for a lifelike portrait based off the photo below (Just Kellywise's beautiful 
face)?

Honestly - it all depends on who you go with. 1/2 day tattoo with consultation 500 sounds about right. That, however, is more based on size.

I have one on my shoulder, seemed like a good idea back in the Air Force. Took about an hour, cost me $100 including tip. Half a day is going to get expensive. It’s all relative to the quality though. If you want a cheap one I suggest committing a felony then trading a pack of cigs for one in the slammer
