Kodi gone to crap

Is it just me, or has Kodi gone to crap? Genesis reborn, placenta, Neptune rising. All trash. Nothing works worth a damn.

I'm just learning to set up Kodi. Looks to me like all I really need it for is Gaia. That one is the nuts, being able to stream 4k with Real Debrid. Think I'm done with torrents now that I've got that setup. I don't see what benefit there is to the other plug-ins over Terrarium. My trio will be Vaders, Terrarium, and Gaia. Think that will cover everything I need.

It's all about the Apks now. Download Filelinked onto your FireTV and use someone on YouTube's store code and they'll be updated versions of all the good apks.

This guys method in this video should still work, his store code definetly does(youll see). He goes over everything very slow and from the beginning.
*If you're following the video and bitpic(the download app he uses) doesn't work you can use the link in the video on downloader(a different download app) and it should work.
If the video doesn't work at all just find one for filelinked app and use Eletrical Mds store code for the apks.

Give up relying on random here-today-gone-tomorrow streams and set up Plex.

Yeah, thugs took over Kodi and started ruining it. That's why I walked away from working on it.
When you walk into a Mall/shopping center/ or see a FB page selling loaded boxes and advertise free movies, cable tv, even movies in theaters.... It's in trouble.
The biggest mistake was the complete builds. I fought against that because it meant you didn't have to work for it and everybody would flock to it. That would bring massive pain from the gov.
So a lot of these people get the letter and disappear and come back later.
The real issue right now you are facing is the new Kodi. 17.6 is about to go and 18 is coming out. It's on 18.2 right now (testing still) but people are rushing to make sure their stuff is ready to go.
Also, get a real debrid account.

I haven't used Kodi in over a year, and i did regularly for a good 2 years before that.
I download the shows i want to watch via torrent and put them on plex.

Plex setup is a waaaaaaaay better use of that time you wasted fricking around with kodi and the end product is much much much better.

yes, it was like trying to find something to watch with the universe at your fingertips..At least with torrents I have an idea of whats new..
I also pay for Hulu and Netflix so the only thing we "miss" are movies
I have three kids and its honestly easier because they don't know what they're missing..Most Disney and Nick shows are on Hulu
