Perfect Storm brewing for this team

Doesn't matter what the rant or writers think about this LSU team, except for the players and their belief within one another and coaches. Being the underdog can only motivate this team to play above their threshold. So look out for the potential of an unbelievable season.

Good writers and people on this board have been doing nothing but stroking the teams ego for the past 10 years. They haven’t earned anything, much less respect, so they better play well or they’ll be lucky to make an nfl practice squad

I'm in too. I mean what choice do I have? I want LSU to be great again, and I want it now.

Seriously...don't you want Coach O to fail?

Let's hope the storm isn't a Miami Hurricane

People will think they are overachieving but in actuality they will just be playing to their potential.

Yup pretty much all you need is a belief to win and motivation...idk why more teams don’t do it
Posted on 7/20/18 at 10:56 pm to LSUVAFAN
It should have been motivating the last few years.

I'm in too. LSU is my team& I'll cheer & support them always, regardless of who the coach is. But IMHO this is coach O's critical year. He's got the coaches he wants (for better or worse, possibly very worse), had a great recruiting class & possible answer at QB.
He needs to let the coordinators do their jobs & not meddle so much.
If they go 9-3, 8-4 O will still be here. 7-5, 6-6. maybe not. I predict 8-4.
The schedule is brutal tho!
Having watched college & pro football for a long time, I understand basic strategies, but I just don't get some things. I just like the game.
It'll be a bumpy ride, buckle up y'all!
GEAUX TIGERS :)

A perfect storm requires all the elements to come together at the same time. Orgeron is such an obvious and complete deficit as HC that LSU literally cannot have a "perfect storm" opportunity as long as he is here.
It would be like hoping for a championship with the HC position vacated.

O is 17-6 since taking over as hc (74%). over that same period dan mullen went 13-9 (59%), gus malzahn went 16-7 (70%),and jimbo fisher went 14-8 (64%)........
O isn’t nearly as bad as some make him out to be.
