Regardless of today's result, its refreshing to see an Everton team that's actually fun to watch

I love Niasse

frick 2-1 would’ve been so priceless. 10 men plus you know Wolves will make some noise.

That's an understatement

Last years Everton would have rolled over and lost 3-1 after that red card. So awesome to see them get back up after that and go all out not just for a draw, but to actually win. Should be a fun season!

Yep

Regardless of season finish, just looking forward to watching the match will be a huge difference. Fun game.

I'm really curious to see what our regular CB pairing will be once Mina and Zouma get settled in. Keane looked pretty solid today outside of the goal.

Mina/Keane pairing with Holgate/Zouma as subs?

The rain slowed down the game. Lucky break!

I think everyone but Gylfi played well enough to not lose their spot. I'd understand a CB change, however.

My biggest takeaway from the first game is that it was the first time in a long time that Coleman was on the field and we didn't rely on him to create the majority of our offense.

You thought Gylfi played poorly?

No, just out of the four attacking players, I saw him as the least impressive. Even if I only account for the time before he was subbed off.

Sig wasn’t on too long. Theo probably could’ve done a bit more on the ball.

I didn't find Tosun to be very involved or impressive, but I admittedly don't have a great eye for evaluating performance.

That kinda surprised me, but I still think he has potential. Hopefully, he plays well and returns a better player next season.

Coleman is captain today!

Holgate for Jags. Zouma and Lookman on the bench
