Freedom Caucus lawmakers call on DOJ to probe Rosenstein allegations

Let the investigations begin....
RR is being accused of abuse of power. He abused his power when he called for the SC. Congress has been requesting RR hand over the documents he wrote which called for the SC, but Rosy won't hand over the documents, maybe it's because he abused his power when he called for the SC.
Now some Congressional staffers are willing to swear that RR used the power of his office to intimidate them. Who does Rosy think he is? Time to nail Rosy to the wall.

"This notion Mr. Rosenstein threatened to use his official investigative powers as Deputy Attorney General to retaliate against rank-and-file staff members for sending written oversight requests raises concerns he has abused his authority in the context of this investigation," they wrote in their letter to DOJ inspector general Michael Horowitz.
News reports had indicated Rosenstein planned to call on the House general counsel to conduct an internal investigation on congressional staffers' "conduct" this week.
But the DOJ dismissed the aides' accounts of the events that took place.
"The Deputy Attorney General never threatened anyone in the room with a criminal investigation," a Justice Department official told CNN last week. "The FBI Director, the senior career ethics adviser for the Department, and the Assistant Attorney General for Legislative Affairs who were all present at this meeting are all quite clear that the characterization of events laid out here is false."
Jordan and Meadows, two of the most vocal critics of Mueller’s probe, said witnesses are able to provide documentation and sworn testimony on the occurrence.

Pretty sure the GOP going after Rosenstein would be the final nail in the treason coffin

They don't even have the correct measurements to cut the wood much less the correct number of nails required.

Please, elaborate. What other nails have been hammered in, and to what extent would a probe in to Rosenstein's actions constitute another nail?
This is not to say that I firmly and absolutely believe that Rosenstein acted in a criminal or unethical manner, but I do doubt that an investigation in to his actions could be reasonably called treasonous.

RR is accused of abuse of power, not treason. Calling for an SC for no reason other than try to overthrow a duly elected prez would be a treasonous offense.
I allege this is what RR did. Since RR has been officially accused of this, RR needs to call a SC to investigate. He is also responsible for digging up the evidence. There is no need for me to provide evidence of anything. All I need to do is make the accusation. That's how the Trump/Rushia collusion began.
If it did not begin this way, then RR needs to give the documents to Congress. He won't because he never had evidence to justify the SC.

He had an official document to roll out the investigation. What congress wants is the "revised" version that Mueller requested three weeks after he started.
Some say he requested immunity from any charges against he and his staff that might arise. Would explain why he is knocking down doors, using the media to plant/expose evidence, etc.
It should be a simple official document, the fact that Rosenstein wont honor this simple request sends up some red flares.
