Humid as balls here in BR this morning. One of those still sweating after the shower runs.

I findste afternoon runs are easier for me to breathe — it’s hit but not quite as humid. My schedule allows it so it’s just my norm.

Hoooo it's humid as a bitch out there. I look like I just jumped out of a pool!

I did end up missing my two longest runs last week (3.5 and 4mi, respectively) but I'm getting back on it this week. I really like having this plan on Higdon's app because I can see the progressive buildup of mileage. I 100% would've done too much too soon if I was just winging it. I'm feeling faster and fresher after my runs.

I’m in LC and I ran on the same day around noon. I really struggled that day. Sweat probably for an hour after I was done.

Went this morning and I couldn’t believe how much easier it was. Now, granted, I’m improving on every run but it was so much easier to breathe today as well. I beat my fastest pace by 38 seconds. Had to be the lower humidity. No question. Fastest pace for a little bit was 9:02.

Downtown was crawling with security and media. Joe Biden will be here today talking up his infrastructure bill. I got pretty close to where he will be before they barricaded everything off and on the way back, I had to take a slight detour. I’m pretty sure I’m on the Secret Service watch list and they’re monitoring my post right about now. Anyway, kind of excited as to how much easier it was to breathe today and I made a mile without stopping for the first time.

Be nice. I’m still running and walking. But I’m pretty sure I ran a full mile today without stopping which is a first since probably HS in 1996.
