As far as food goes, Destin has 800 chains and a handful of locally owned. The local places usually aren't good, but people will act like they have the best food ever because tgey want people to think they've found a hidden gem.

Cafe 30A a few minutes past Seaside - different league from anything in Seaside including B&A's. Excellent waitstaff that know the food that's going on the table. Great place.
