Whatsapp and riots in india

Two groups in India are creating fake news.
They are both using whatsapp to spread malicious rumors.
Hundreds of thousands of phones were given to the poor.
Now someone is using whatsapp to create hysteria in tribal villages. They put it out that someone abused a child. Next thing you know, they are egging people to string up that stranger. 17 so far.
No end to it.
And the dominant political party is using whatsapp to spread falsehoods.
Solve this one:
I found instances of TD posters spreading falsehoods on TD during the election. Proved. And they were not banned. And they did it again and again.
I was not the only poster to address such manipulation.
But it was allowed.
Ends justify the means, until it's your ox gored.
