Nobody would know who sherman is if stonewall hadn't foolishly gotten himself shot or would have been humble enough to get properly treated. Stonewall would have burned dc to the ground and ended the war. Stonewall is by far the greatest military leader this nation has ever had.

You literally have no idea what you are talking about. Sherman was the brother of a sitting U.S. senator and became well known throughout the North when he proclaimed that it would take 250,000 men just to pacify the rebellion in the Kentucky-Tennessee region.

Before Stonewall Jackson was shot by his own men in May 1863, Sherman had been proclaimed one of the heroes of the Battle of Shiloh and, at the moment of Jackson's death, was wreaking havoc in Mississippi under Grant's command, as his forces moved inexorably toward Vicksburg.

Those are irrefutable facts. People who say otherwise are ignorant fools.

Stonewall Jackson was good but not great. Why don't you read up on his performance during the Battle of the Seven Days in June 1862? Had he been where he was supposed to be just one time, it's very likely Lee lands a serious blow to McClellan and the Union army. As a battlefield commander he is extremely overrated. As a man who could get the most out of his troops when it was needed the most, he was pretty damn good.

Nope.

Stone wall Jackson was a pedophile, sheep rapist, who burned orphanages.

That's as ridiculous a claim as the other guy made.

You're not. You're just boring and predictable. To be a troll you have to be somewhat successful at it.

I figured asking this question on a southern centric website is not serious.

Sherman gets the vote of Patton.

Sherman.

Besides his error of getting shot by his own men.

Sherman forced his military concept.

Jackson was a subordinate. That was his downfall.

Feel like adding anything to the discussion, or doing your typical route of "MAGA! Snowflake! Melt!"?

WTF are you going on about, fool?

Cite a post where I've ever said anything of the sort.

Oh, and you still suck at trolling.
