Bashing who? I see several posters discussing how talented our roster is and then I see a few posters bash the players to prop up a failure of a coach.

Just curious, what do you think my stance is? I've said repeatedly this team is capable of 10-2 or better.
This entire group of posters have bashed O and the team for months...over and over every day. Now they are suddenly saying we have talent for 11-1. They don't expect that, and looking for another angle to bash. It is their life. frick. A positive person can't post anything positive. About 20 of them on this site. Bunch of phssies

It's quite amusing. In the last several months I have come around and recognized that this team, despite being un-proven, is as talented as LSU has had since 2012. I'm not sold on the offense being great, but I think this defense is a top 10 unit, easily. I've taken my prediction from 7 wins to 10 wins as well.
I'm just a negative "loser" who bashes LSU 24/7 though.

I think the point being made is that the talent was there last year and it is there this year. Last year the coaching staff underacheived and folk are hoping that the new hires will be the difference. Personally, I'm not comfortable with people blaming the players when objective people are telling us it was a top 10 team.

So expecting 10 wins is now just "covering bases"? That's the same expectation I've had for LSU football for the last 15+ years.
