Miami’s rankings is misleading especially since richt has been at Miami. Yeah Miami was ranked in the 20s in that class but over 50% of the class were blue chips and they led the country in freshman all Americans with 4 from that class alone

es, I don't think we have enough talent to win 10 games. 8 is more realistic.
Bama has a significant talent edge over us, that's a given.
But we have 2 1st Team All Americans on defense, and a lot of returning depth that had to play last year on the lines.
Nobody else should outclass us.

Strange things happen once they tee it up and play. Luck, play calls, injuries, referees, weather, emotions will all play a part
If Les Miles were the coach, then we'd acknowledge a loss to Alabama. Beyond that, the following:
Losing to any of Miami, Fla or A&M would be bad. Auburn and Georgia will be tough, but we'd expect/demand a split. Losses to both would be a disappointment.
It isn't just Miles, that would be the expectations for any random generic coach here. It shouldn't change for Orgeron. What WAS unacceptable, should remain so.

When was BH EVER a top 10 projected draft pick, That QUIT on his team.
Wow Kristy, you sure seem like to bash the young men who have worked their butts off for the LSU football program. Even some of the ones who didn't "QUIT" on their team.
BTW, you bringing up players who quit on their teams, where you aware that o quit on his team when he was a student athlete at LSU?
And after witnessing you melt in most of your posts that past few days, I'm going to replace that good trait of yours known as "common sense", and replace it with one that isn't good, and that would be "thin skinned."

Oh look, another Tiger Ree posting characteristic. The evidence just continues to pile up.
Damn man, I think you may be onto something.
Let's not forgot that SpaceClownboy has been lost in space for the past few months.

schedule is too hard
That shite blows my mind. I don't recall hearing anyone telling us the schedule was too hard to expect special success under Saban after 2002 or Les the whole time he was hear, but now suddenly we play too hard of a schedule to win more than eight or nine games. It's amazing how low the bar has been lowered since O was hired.

Enough with this schit. No one with a functioning brain is buying this shite about the schedule and here you are with jimmies fully rustled about the same shite again.
The only thing lowered in this thread is everyone's IQ after reading your posts.

I was responding to a post about that shite you don't like. Take it up with the guy who posted it first, clown.
If anyone has jimmies fully rustled, it seems to be you.

quote:Well I think everyone knows defensive back depth is not what it should be and we have some unproven players there. We also have some great ones but you need depth.
That's fine. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. Where do you think we are deficient in talent? Certain positions?
I'm not sure that talent is the right way to phrase things. A player may be highly ranked coming out of high school, or has been tearing it up in practice but until they actually play in a game, you just never know. So how about saying some positions are uncertain because we have no proven players there. QB, RB, WR's punter, placekicker, some of the defensive line. I know we have players at all those positions who can be good or even great but how can you be enthusiastic until they prove themselves?
I want to jump on the Burrows bandwagon so badly. I want him to be great. But we have been burned so many times, let's wait and see.
