You and me both brother. There are probably several entrances and winding offshoots, not to mention the freaking sound would be blocked by the water. Did someone just decide to swim through the choke point and say "Hey! They are probably over here!"

Early on some of the maps showed the place where the kids abandoned a lot of their stuff. It was before the narrow part. It would be a "they were here" moment, and could have given people with maps an idea of which way the rising water forced them to go

Is that an actual kid in that tube, or a midget?? Who lets their child be used to test an experimental diving gadget???
That thing looks like some sort of alien torture chamber. Nope. No way.

Thanks for the info RTF. Either way, someone had to swim through that narrow corridor underwater mind you, to get to them. All this should've been released IMO so we're not guessing what happened.

LINKthis map shows how far in their belongings were found.

LINK is another perspective showing where the belongings were found

LINK 3
ThiS map has specifics about spaces to be gone through. It comes from a cave map made by the Pyrenees Speleological Group based on what is I assume their Thai trip 87-88.

The boys were first found at Pattaya Beach, but the water rose and they had to retreat even farther into the cave complex.

From the video, he looked young, but not like a small child.

It's just a feature in the cave. Prominent features or rooms in caves are often named to make it easier to describe to others where you are/where you went.
