D. Bush or C. Kimbrough

Anyone have an update if we are taking either one? I heard from last weekend Kimbrough supposedly earn an offer?
Was Bush not interested or overrated?

We have Kimbrough higher rates on our board, but may lose him to UF. We'd have to swing and miss at a few before Bush made it into this class IMO.

We finally offered Kimbrough last weekend. He’s higher up because he fits our scheme defensively more, but he doesn’t like the depth at DB we’re bringing in. Devin Bush is rated pretty high but supposedly is fairly overrated wouldn’t be surprised if we don’t get any. Look for Porter Jr out of Pennsylvania. Personally I wouldn’t take any more DB’s and focus on trying to get Christian Harris into the class. We will see

Porter or Harris, I would think.

Harris may grow into a LB.

We’ll have to do some convincing with Kimbrough but I think he’s the guy we want. Need to convince him of our need for corners in this class and the fact that we usually play a lot of guys in the secondary
Yo Chester, in 2011 our DIME BACK, Ron Books, went 3rd round. Come on down to DBU my guy

Harris is not a CB at all on the college level. He's like 6'1 230 right now, he's also very slow for a CB, ran a 4.70 at an event
He will be a WR/S/LB in college

Vol I don’t know who you know foe all the good and accurate info.. kimbeough needs to be a Tiger! Tell the staff to get after it

I feel like Voltiger is the first "insider" that I can remember that people legitimately always believe and no one gets pissed off at. Its great.

I feel like I believe him because he doesn’t say cryptic shite and he never says anyone is a lock until he’s 100% sure aka they told the coaches they are committing.
He just gives us info on how the picture looks at the moment. No bullshite about it.

Basically what Vol said. There's probably 3 or 4 above bush at the moment and he may keep slipping. M Brooks gives us so much versatility at LB that we just don't need him. I think Kimbrough will come to his senses but he may also be too late by the time he decides? That's too bad because I think he would get playing time pretty quickly and will be a star at LSU. Most of the guys who just committed can play outside, inside and some FS as well. With as much Nickel/Paso/Dime/Cheetah, all these specialty defense's we play, these guys can come in early and play.
Man I'm pumped about this year. I think the Tigers will be very good and surprise some folks. I'm ready to see it all.

i'm not giving up on the young man at this point in the recruiting cycle. He has very impressive cover skills and would love to see him at LSU.
There is a lot of talk about Hampton possibly getting drafted by MLB.
One of the current DB commits is a JUCO player and there have been hiccups in the past with transferring.
Hope i'm wrong, but always concern with out of state commits until the ink dries (especially from 2 states to the east of The Boot).

Christian Harris would make a great LBer in college. He damn near has the size already to be one, he's athletic like White is, but not as fast as White. I just think he would make a great LB!

O said they will full court press Chester Kimbrough from here on. CK seems concerned with the depth we are stockpiling this class at CB, but we always play a lot of DBs, so there's room for him to get some PT. I really hope he comes here.

Don’t think Kimbrough has The Chest.
He scared of competition !!!

I remember another kid from the New Orleans area who committed to Florida last summer. He ended up in P&G. Is the staff going to continue recruiting CK after he commits? It seems to me like they will. There are more than 5 1/2 months until anything can become official. A lot can change between now an then.
Keep in mind, this kid has only even had an LSU offer for 2 weeks. He's had an offer from Florida since the beginning of March. That's a long time for him to have been thinking about Florida and NOT thinking about LSU. The staff has to know it's going to take longer than 2 weeks to change his thinking, right?
