This is Africa. Not one protest, not one demonstration here in the states for these poor kids. After all, there are millions of these kids and they sure as hell look a lot worse off than the kids crossing the border.
Why is that if those on the left are so concerned? I'm listening.

I agree, and I think there are enough examples of american kids who aren’t getting the kind of attention that these Mexican immigrant kids are getting.

So you’re comparing an issue on our own border with something happening half a world away? Is this the standard you guys hold yourselves to, both in trying to draw logical correlations, and on actual issues?
Are you concerned about those kids in Africa? No, but you sure as hell don’t mind using them to try and score political points. And because you don’t care about those kids, you don’t actually care about abortion.
Are you concerned with the way China suppresses free speech of its citizens within its own borders? No, then you don’t actually care about freedom of speech or freedom in general.

dims want the gubment to have control over as much as possible. If you get all your aid from the gubment they have more control over you than if you get it from a real charity.
