In the old terminal, A and B will be knocked down.
Between C and D, some of it will be kept open for general aviation, and some of it will become office space.
All regularly scheduled passenger airlines will use the new terminal.
The North Terminal will have a new garage for about 2200 cars and about 1300 surface parking spots. That's about 2100 spots less than the current parking garages and lots. Supposedly they are going to do a shuttle bus.
I haven't heard much at all about how this is all going to work, and it's very concerning. Not to mention, all the park and fly lots. There doesn't appear to be an easy way to get from the new terminal to the old garages/Airline Hwy.
While the terminal itself is setting up to be very nice, all of the access and surrounding stuff doesn't seem to be well thought out.

Not to mention no interstate access.

Not happy that I won’t be able to access the airport from Airline. If they don’t have the new interstate interchange ready I don’t see how you would even drive up to the terminal. At some point they should have considered a tunnel underneath the runways so that you could still come in from Airline.

My question is why not repurpose those facilities. Could Send Ex, UPS, USPS, etc.use them?

While a shuttle bus will work, a tram would be the best way to go. Hell, JBE had 8 million set aside for the now shelved gulf coast train route for Amtrak. Redirect those funds to airport access.
