He may have had some cash stashed, but he was heavily in debt, everything he had that rolled or flew had a loan attached to it, a small bank in Gonzales LA held the note on his business jet.

Dated one of his grandaughter’s back in high school for a year and a half. Met Barry Seal’s ex-wife plenty of times.
That family went through some hard times and were still feeling the aftermath of his assassination 10 years ago.
I pray for them occasionally. What a traumatizing experience it all must’ve been.

Barry didn't have a brother n law that was executed and I'm pretty sure he didn't have a wife that looked like the one in the movie.

The pay phone scene was fact...saw that with my own eyes... his oldest son and I have been friends since jr high and we met Mr Barry at the K&B on college one evening before we went bar hopping .... didn’t actually see him call anyone but did see the stacks of quarters on the phones...
