The #1 player in Utah just decommitted from BYU and reopened his commitment. He will be visiting LSU this weekend for 2 days. Heard it this morning on 104.5. Bill Busch doing work!

Imagine he and Shelvin playing in a 4-3 instead of 3-4?

Wowwwww..

I'm fully erect because of this thread.

With that amount of beef on the front line, we could play a 2-4-5 defense!

We actually do play that defense. I love the different variations Aranda does for match ups. The man is a genius but the offense could play very similarly.

It's all about the play call at the time and how it looks to the defense. If they exact run then pass, if they expect pass then toss it to a back who can pass, let them play the run and pass the ball. Just do different things to fool the defense at the most unexpected times. If you can do that then the offense will be successful most times.

The days of just lining up and hitting are over and have been for a while. These kids want to have fun and I say let them have fun.

he looks heavy footed and clumsy to me. But he is really just a kid. He can be coached to improve footwork. I like Polynesians DLineman they all have a mean streak. Maybe he and Fahoko can do the Haka before a game.

We really don't have anyone that is a true 4-3 defensive end putting his hand on the ground.

We would need some of those types to be able to line up these two behemoths inside.

We would need to recruit some of those types like Thibodeaux.

I saw that also.

Let's wait until Aranda has a day sith him. Aranda, in my opinion, will get his guys. His reputation precedes him very well.

If he's got "twitch" they can make clumsy work. "twitch" would allow him to get the OLman out of position, off balance, or get "into him" where he can overpower him.

Yes, ideally you want agile, strong, and bend with twitch. But that twitch is near the top.

Next thing... does he have "twitch"? I'd love to see Meatball and O drilling him to find out.

I think Rashard Lawrence could honestly be that guy for us this season.

If he stays healthy he is going to have a huge season.

He isn't a true 4-3 end you are right, but He will get consistent pressure on the QB.

At least 8 sacks.

The defense is going to be filthy this season just wait and see.

Imagine if we somehow got Fulton back. I don't see it happening but he deserves to play and I'd love to see it for him and for the Tigers.

Lawrence played with a bum ankle pretty much the entire season.

He should have a great year if he can stay healthy.

Just curious, why does 247 have him 100 percent to Bama? Thought he was committed to BYU.

Because it is the Bama network and they fall in to the Stalinist line of thinking that due to the Tua connection Bama will get every Polynesian player on the planet where there is an in. Very simple:).
