How big of an Impact could one QB, like Joe Burrow, be?

I see predictions for the Tigers ranging anywhere from 5-7 to 9-4 BEFORE it was known Joe Burrow would transfer to our program. Ive read alot of Buckeye forums and it's been nothing but fans praising him and saying LSU has hit the lotto with Burrow. I have yet to see any predictions after him joining the Tigers, so with that being said, How big of an Impact could he make if he is as good as everyone thinks he is? Geaux Tigers, and GEAUX Joe!

The schedule is rough, I was expecting around 6 wins before him.
We still have to see how the overall offense responds under a new OC.
I can see at least 9 wins being possible with him.

Depends on the relatively untested supporting cast in skill players as well. Quarterback is not the only question mark in our offense.

I mean, a QB isn't going to save the season all by himself, but when you consider QB was the biggest question mark going into the season (and has been for quite a while) it would help big time to have a good one.
Everybody expects the defense to be absolutely solid, as a whole. Its been reported the WRs are the strength of the team. So that leavs OL, RB, and QB. O Line is obviously the most important piece, because if they are shite it doesn't matter how good the QB and RBs are.
Assuming the OL is solid, having a QB could make ALL the difference. Good WR and good QB, behind a good OL, means your average RB could put up really good numbers.

you contradict yourself
A top QB makes LSU a 10 win team pretty easy, IMO.
It's a HUGE leap to assume Burrow is a top QB.

I'm assuming he meant he hasn't seen post after the Burrow signing. Apparently he doesnt frequent this site very often. I think the OP was his first post.

Depends on how pass protection holds up, how our green WRs and RBs perform and on Ensminger designing scheme to fit his skill set. He obviously is a talented prospect

It is the most important single position on the field, so it could make a huge difference.

A quarterback will only be as good as his Oline, receivers and running game is. Untested RBs, who the hell knows about these receivers and as far as the Oline - we will see. Clapp will be missed.

Brumfield at Center!!! I can only hope.

WR and RB experience isn't really that important, it is really the 2 positions you can commonly let freshman loose and be successful. WR isn't a concern in any case IMO, RB is the only position with potential issues. It looks like the first complete team in a while talent wise, though I'm not quite sold on our ability to execute at a high level.

He is not going to bean impact player like a Cam Newton like some on here believe. We will be extremely lucky if he has 3quqrtra of the production Zack did his second year. He makes us a game better, the kicker should have as big as an impact.

Could push Myles for the starting job if given the reps.
