Thought it would be cool for fans of all different systems that know some cool little tidbits to come in here and maybe share some things the rest of us didn’t know or heard

One thing I believe I heard way back but had forgotten was that Breath of the Wild in its first month sold 2.76 million units. To put things in perspective, the game outsold it’s own system by 20,000 units at launch.

Some people were buying two just to keep one in their pants at all times.

my interesting fact is epic invested 100m into 'fortnite esports' tournaments

a)battle royal isnt an esport so thats a large investment into an unknown

b) the rng aspect of loot would be an issue for competitive, potentially. not a big issue but interesting to note. altho im not entirely familiar with the loot system

c)how the frick do they have that much cash to dump into this from a "free game"

Was watching a video on The Know in the last couple of days and they said that Fortnite brings in 200 million a month in revenue so 100 million for esports is not even really a drop in the bucket to them.

I’m 27 and buy $25 worth of vbucks somewhat regularly depending on if something I want is sold.

I’ve probably spent $150 over the 5-6 months I’ve been playing the game. It’s not just kids, and some people are spending far more than that.

I will say that the game is starting to get a bit bland. The constant building is becoming old and gun skill is much less important than it was a few months ago. Just something that is expected though in a game with a building mode like this game has.

I actually feel like it's reverting back to guns and less massive building. Because height gets you killed. These dudes will build 75 meters high, but forget they each only started on a ramp so it's an easy kill.

I think they desperately need a new map, and slightly less RNG in the shooting mechanics. The new Famas is a start, fricker is a tack driver compared to everything else in the game.

God of War is also on track to possibly become the fastest video game to reach a billion views on YouTube. Game released on April 20 and already had 789 million views in 10 days by the end of April.
