What would it take to get Brad Hand right now?

Padres wanted a Top 10 prospect last year, I assume they haven't budged

He needs to be, no direction

Gardner has been hot, I would prefer him in CF, Hicks in LF and Stanton with a day off

What does that mean? The Yankees are 10-3 in 1 run games that is second best in MLB
I think he means what you pointed out. The Yankees are consistently getting breaks in close games. With the errors last night, the game shouldn't have been close. Gardner's second home run and cutting down Kemp at third on the wild pitch were ridiculous, though.

Hand isnt worth it IMO. He has been good but not what they are asking for him+yes hes a lefty but at the cost hes going to have to be your traditional closer/9th guy. IMO you can find a closer and a loogy cheaper than Hand by himself.

Yankees record is 2nd best in MLB but only percentage points above other teams such as Boston, Seattle, Atlanta, Colorado, of course Houston is 4-11 but that says more about their bullpen than luck imo

Call it breaks, call it timing, call it what you want
One team walks 2 to leadoff an inning and ends up with the ML leader in GIDP who couldn't sac a runner if you held a gun to his head and scores no runs
The other team gets 1 leadoff walk and hits a pop barely out of the reach of the RF for a game tying HR
The Astros had all kind of miraculous intervention to win last year, including Memorial Day.
I'm not trying to take anything away from a solid lineup w young talent and a decent starting staff with a great bullpen.
Just noting that I see some similarities of occurences with the Yankees that I saw with the Astros last year.

Personally I’d rather see Davis in right at Yankee stadium than have Marisnick in the starting lineup vs friggin Severino

Herrera in KC has been great this year, that's who HOU should target IMO

Kemp's OBP has been.400 since he came up. Granted it's been from the nine hole, but moving Bregs to five and bumping Springer, Altuve, and Correa down one could be intriguing.

Well, tt38, we’re not stupid. Maybe a bit over-reactive and hyperbolic, but never stupid...haha.

The Yankees are basically the Astros from last year. They beat you over the head with a stacked lineup and come back to win games they had no business winning. It wasn't evem Judge, Sanchez or Stanton that doomed us last night. It was Brett Gardner and a 21 year old rookie.
Last year's Astros had a knack for refusing to lose. They'd come back in the last innings and step on the neck of an opponent. They're not doing it much this year. Yankees are.

Yikes going to be a long game offensively
