Talent wise I think we have just as good maybe better talent on our roster than Burrow. It's not about pure talent. It's about how ready they are mentally and physically to play big time college football.

I think this guy is head and shoulders more prepared simply because he's been through adversity and handled it very well. He was Mr. football in the state of Ohio and sat for 3 years while JT Barrett won tons of games. He probably would have at least shared time as a starter this year but chose to leave bc sometimes a 5*s potitial to be great is just too good to pass on.

I think Urban is now biting his nails bc this guy would have been his go to if the uber talented 5*s didn't pan out. I just like the mentality that this guy Burrow will bring to the QB room. Our QBs will have to either learn from him or beat him outright. Both are great for LSU.

I'll give you Zeier, Greene, Murray and Stafford.

Mett never played a down there.
Eason? Please.
Fromm. We will see.
The rest were decent but hardly worthy of mention as part of a QB factory.

Even LSU has a list nearly that good if you are going to go back 25 years.

Now, if you want to talk about a running back factory, UGA is one of the biggest.

It could be and let me tell you why I say that!we have talented qb's if the coaches take 4 plays that each one ran or threw well in high school mix those plays up in their formations I think that all of them could succeed. Especially your backup whomever it maybe. Just ask Georgia how well it worked!!!!!

You’re really reaching... UGA recruited Mett.. you also suggest Hines Ward and DJ Shockley were nothing special. Not sure what else Fromm could do to impress you.

I mean people really feel a 3rd string QB at another P5 conference school is the difference? That is a testament to the current QB's LSU has then. I mean he should be no better than the two guys who've been in the system for a year since it would be his first time in the system. Yet, many believe him a savior of some sorts.

Actually we had an average veteran, a beanpole who throws a nice ball, and a project who has not moved past being a project.

When you get the chance to win the job and can’t throw 50%, you need some more work. Whereas Burrow showed out.

You obviously have a different definition of QB factory than I.

His numbers are nothing special yet. Let’s see him win games with his arm and without Nick and Sony.

I will have a much clearer picture after seeing the offense with Burrows and the Miami game

y’all are going to be in for some disappointment. Burrow was a good pickup, but the guy is a grad transfer that has never started. Perhaps there’s a reason for that.

Probably because they had Cardale Jones and JT Barrett.

Would he have started if he were here the last 3 years competing with fricking Brandon Harris and Danny Etling?

Mett was a backup and was going to be a multi year backup before he came here. He wasn’t starting over Murray.

He ended up being the best QB we’ve had since Flynn.

Etling wasn’t anything special but he proved to be better than Jennings and Harris.

You all acting as if a backup QB at another school can’t be better than what we have are ridiculous. It’s been proven with the last 2 transfer QBs that have come here.

We had a battle this spring between 3 average at best QBs and neither could separate from one another.

What makes anyone think a QB that could not win the job at OSU is going to make a diff at LSU ? The QB play for OSU was average last year and Burrows could not break out of the pack. I say Brennan beats him out and we are staring 6-6 in the face.

The only way we beat Bama is if we hire Nick Saban

both have new coaches - who are very good coaches. It's not crazy to think those teams will both be better.

I thought it took new coaches three years to improve programs that have become mediocre?

Argue against him, but come up with something better than Troy.

I’ve said all along Mississippi State was worse than Troy.

But the Troy game was still awful. It’s just that MSU was absolute garbage.
