Wife(no pics) and I went to a local food and arts festival this weekend(free tix), and they had some generic 90s and 2000s bands like Gin Blossoms, Jimmy Eat World, Goo Goo Dolls, and Lifehouse, and i was surprised how much i liked them and some of their songs. FYI, festival also had Spoon, Kool and the Gang, Reckless Kelly, etc.
It got me thinking if what other guilty pleasure bands i had from the 90s and early 2000s.
Im not saying these are are the next Zepplin or should win a grammy, just saying i dont mind it if it comes through on Spotify or Pandora
Goo Goo Dolls
Lifehouse
Gin Blossoms
Train- early stuff
All American Rejects
Offspring

I have Creed and Limp Bizkits greatest hits on rotation. I wont admit that to anyone outside of this space

I am far more excited than I should be that the Spin Doctors are going to play the Oyster Festival downtown at the end of June.

7, Sexy MF, and Gangster Glam by Prince, IK they're obscure, deep cuts by him during an ok period in his career when he wasn't eviscerating the charts like he did in the 1980s but still great stuff nonetheless

Forgot about Third Eye Blind.
Them and Matchbox 20 were on regular rotation when you’d “park” the truck. Lol.

After seeing them live I'd list them as a guilty pleasure - their lead singer is so corny/lame but the music is so good.

Most of the stuff already mentioned. Here are some specific examples:
Spin Doctors - How Could You Want Him When You Know You Could Have Me
Third Eye Blind - The Background
Collective Soul - When the Water Falls
Freddy Jones Band - Mystic Buzz
