Yep. Wright Thompson wrote about it. Believe the “kid” claimed to be a refugee from Haiti. He was sent to jail for his “relations”

I tried doing this in order to gain admission to an Ivy league college, it did not work. I got caught. Here is a short vid from those days.

He had played HS BB in Dallas area when he was legit age to be in HS. A former coach saw him playing for Hillcrest HS where he had been named District player of the year.

if he wants to play ball so bad, the NAIA has very easy eligibility rules... just go to a NAIA college/university

He should have at least gotten out of the Dallas metro if he was the district player of the year when he was in school. I wonder how many games he played.

Back in 2009 there was a guy named Steele Davis that I think played at a Baton Rouge school and then transferred to multiple other states to play basketball.

He ended up being a ranked prospect in the 2011 class.

And then it was found out that he was like 22 and not 16.

I don't remember all the details, but here is one of the threads about it: LINK

Guess he didn't get enough education the first time around?

Greg Oden was 43 years old as a high school senior and played a few years in the NBA despite needing a walker to get around. Where was the outrage then?

25 years old is labeled as a criminal. Greg Oden went number 1 in the draft over Durant.

I agree with that, guess he couldn't get past the glory days and wanted to re-live them.

Most of these types end up coming back as teachers and coaches.

Maybe he's been reading the news and wanted to hookup with a teacher?

Would that be a crime?
