I think I caught his twin last week in Lafourche Parish?

Maybe. Tail on the bottom fish looks a little shorter, kinda like a fly bream. Eyes look identical!

Bottom one is a red spotted sunfish.

That was a pretty one. Probably a male. Those little perch sure have some pretty colors when spawning.

Bream fishing in Concordia parish got checked by green jeans. Took a survey of our catch. Out of about 60 fish we had 6 different species of “bream”. Pretty cool

I caught a really pretty bream this weekend and wasn't really sure what kind it was. Looks kinda like a mixture of a few different types. If I knew how to post pictures on here I'd put him up.

One benefit of my girlfriend coming fishing with me is that when she gets on the bream, I get to see some really nice ones while I strike out bass fishing.

One from last year:
These were from a few weeks ago. The pic doesn't do em justice, they were all about 8-9 inches long:

Was this at Spring Bayou?

Looks a lot like this, no?

Yes it does look very similar. Mine had a little more orange in it than that one. Really aggressive fish. He was not going to let a senko get by him. I filleted him with the bass and I know it had a nice fillet on it.
