Proper hand hygiene is still the number one way to prevent the spread of infections.
A tax accountant is still capable of getting his coworkers sick.

I find this a turn on coming from a nurse.

Probably no more capable than the public bathroom itself.

And for the record, I do wash and use the paper towel to open the door when exiting. There are a bunch of nasty mfer's out there.

think washing is better than the sanitizer, is this true?
You should always wash your hands if they are visibly soiled. Frequent hand washing can sometimes break down skin and cause irritation. This can discourage staff from doing hand hygiene as often as they should. So that is why we have the sanitizer available. It’s also a convenience thing as well.
The alcohol in the sanitizer actually kills the bacteria....where the act of proper hand washing mechanically removes them from your hands.
The difference is stuff like c diff and norovirus. Hand sanitizer isn’t as effective in killing it so hand washing is better. C diff are in small spores..the hand sanitizer just basically moves the spores around on your hand but doesn’t kill it.

I get pissed off at guys that do wash their hands after peeing, because then, the peer pressure to wash my hands takes over

If you are dumb enough to think that microbes have to be felt to be present, then I feel very sorry for you.
If you are dumb enough to think that the very shite you mention isn't all over the faucet handles and whatnot, then I feel very sorry for you.
If EVERYTHING is automated, I wash my hands. If not, I am not touching that shite. I don't use blow dryers either. I'd rather dry my hands on the back of my pants legs lol

You're the one who looks like he sharted coming out of the restroom.

That is why you turn on faucet, get soap and wash hands. Grab paper towel to turn faucet off. Grab paper towel to dry hands. Grab paper towel to touch handle off door when exiting.
Not that difficult to do people. And you don’t look like some disgusting person who can’t do something as basic as wash their hands after using the bathroom.

I live in PHX. It dries before that's an issue

What I don't get is when they don't have a waste basket by the exit door. I just have to toss mine on the ground behind the door.

Yes, where that is an option. The air drier places are a no-go though.

Somebody close to you die due to not washing their hands? Why are you bleeding so severely over this stupid subject?

I'm just gonna mummify myself in paper towels before I leave the house. That way, I'll never get sick.

Well in case you haven't noticed she is a nurse, and we expect people in the medical field to use good hand washing hygiene. HTH

Reading comprehension clearly is not a skill he has.

Seriously....part of my job is doing hand washing audits on staff at the hospital. I actually walk around and make sure staff are washing their hands or using the hand sanitizer before entering and exiting a patient room. We collect the data to know overall compliance for the hospital.
congrats on the new job. Sounds like a sweet gig. No more nights? NO more shift work?
