DNA leads to arrest of Florida man on voter fraud charges

by Associated Press May 4 at 8:29 AM

ORLANDO, Fla. — Florida authorities say DNA found on envelopes led to a man’s arrest on voter fraud charges.

The Orlando Sentinel reports that the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and Altamonte Springs police took saliva from five mail-in ballots and traced it to 36-year-old Bret Warren.

Fingerprints on the envelopes also matched Warren’s.

Several residents reported they didn’t receive absentee ballots just before the 2016 presidential election. Seminole County Supervisor of Elections Michael Ertel turned them over to police when they arrived at his office with signatures that didn’t match the registered voters.

Warren isn’t a registered voter. It isn’t known which candidate the ballots were cast for because Ertel didn’t open them. [chances are we can make an educated guess that is probably accurate ]

Warren was being held Friday in the Seminole County Jail. Jail records don’t indicate if he has a lawyer.

I don't know many people who say that “voter fraud doesn’t exist.” I DO know lots of people who say that very little fraud exixts “same day, at the polling location,” which is the only type of fraud that Voter ID is designed to address and that Voter ID is thus essentially useless.

Personally, Voter ID doesn’t bother me, because I have no problem with a regimen which effectively denies the franchise to people too lazy or stupid to obtain a state-issued ID. The difference between me and the run-of-the-mill Voter ID blowhard is that I own it.

The fact that those affected are mostly Dems? That is a nice bonus.

No one will be able to convince me that illegals in sanctuary cities, that are inside states that do not require ID to vote, did not go vote against Trump. Who is trying to enforce proper immigration laws and deport illegals.

Warren. Does he have any Native American relatives in politics?

ACORN did a lot of voter fraud until they were defunded by Congress.
Before they were defunded Obama appointed them as census takers for 2010. Gave them a ton of money.
But hey, community organizers gotta stick together. And if you're really good at voter fraud you should be good for census fraud.
