So, having Ed O come in the middle of a season won’t frick up a recruiting cycle. Nice thinking dumbass. Ed has had one full cycle. But he better find one this cycle for sure.

RP was top 100. I know he was in state, but it still should count.

But, for people to act like the problem didn't or doesn't exist and to place blame on him is not correct either.

Only blame I'm put on O is for not fixing it.

as soon as they lose the battlr, most decide to transfer within 1-2 years, or almost immediately after. Wasting 2-3 years usually becoming a nobody again.

They became a nobody when they lost the QB competition at their first school - usually to a guy who is not good enough for the NFL.

All this talk is because of size. He'll get beat out in college by a QB that walked on. I seen him at a camp personally wasnt impressed with his skills. Size I was like he's a giant. Saw him throw run and average at best.

bullshite. Miles is long gone.

Yeah, but the legacy of boring offense and crappy quarterback play is all his. Miles owned all of the QB failures since Flynn left. Other than the Mett transfer he never recruited an elite quarterback to LSU who produced. We don't have a QB legacy with Orgeron yet.

that class finished #7, had 2 QBs and iifc we only lost 1 committ after Miles was fired, so do tell how that cycle was f’ed up genius. Maybe you should think before you post genius

And if he doesn’t do we blame Miles?

But this is what your don’t get. And where your ignorance shines. Miles did significant and Irreparable harm to the program and in particular the culture he created with the offense, especially with the lack of QB development. This reputation cannot be changed over night. Teams are using this heavily against O and since most QB’s are recruited at child birth, its going to take a lot for O to change the trend.

why is UGA not facing the same issues?

Kirby Smart doesn't have some reputation as a QB developer and he showed up on campus and rolled with a completely new offense (so he doesn't get any of Richt's reputation points)

is the implication that O is linked to Miles b/c he was coaching and running recruiting for Les prior to being promoted?

I also agree that you either get it done or you don't. But I won't sit here and let everyone gloss over a problem created by Miles and then downplay the monumental task O has at hand to fix it.

the issue is the primary reason O got the job was to fix this quickly. he hasn't

now O is being defended by ridiculous "rebuilding" talk, which was NOT the plan. O was supposed to maintain all the good parts of the Miles tenure and tweak the bad (offense, primarily)

also, Miles still recruited highly-rated QBs and it's not like we ignored the good QBs at the end of his reign. y'all are acting like LSU is going to talk to these recruits for the first time this year when we had our recruiting tentacles all over them for years just like every other top school
