They got lazy and shouldnt blame the fans who were told the password and wanted tickets. Should probably fire the person who thought a one word presale code would stay secret.

They should send out a notice to all STHs that if they want to purchase tickets they have to do it over the phone with their rep. No more online. Open it up for 24 hours. You can try and tell your rep the seat #s you got today and see if you can get the same ones, hell they may even have records of it and offer you those same seats. But it's done over the phone and not online. Pels need to take control over this with their own people.
Once that 24 hours is up they open the remaining seats for public online.

They used the same passwords in the first round and no one cared. I guess they underestimated how ticked the season holders would be with GS (likely) involved now.

It was a mess. They should first take care of full season ticket holders who wanted to buy additional tickets, then half season, then down the line. Negative publicity from canceled tickets and starting over is a better outcome than negative publicity from ticking off the people who invest in full/half/12 games plans. There's room on the bandwagon, but many people that haven't been to games all year were able to take advantage of the mistake. If tickets are canceled, a dedicated presale between STH opening and general public opening sounds fair
